| CLUB FACILITIES
The Club has an excellent range of facilities available for its members. The boathouse, built in 1985, is sited next to the River Dart on the outskirts of Totnes. The boathouse was extended in 2005 with the aid of a substantial grant from the Community Club Development Program. This has provided enlarged changing rooms, new boat storage shed and most importantly a large ergo room on the 1st floor overlooking the river. It is the best facility in the West of England. The Club trains on the upper reaches of the Dart, which provides excellent training water. Only extremes of weather prevent water outings. Boat Fleet The Club has a policy of regularly updating and expanding its boat fleet. The Club fleet is based nearly exclusively on Janousek boats and at present includes the following; 1 eight 8 coxed fours 1 coxless four/quad 2 coxed quads 3 coxless pairs/double sculls 5 double sculls 8 single sculls 1 clinker scull 2 playboats The Club also owns a safety/coaching launch which is in regular use. To aid coaching, both on and off the water the Club has a video camera, player and TV available for coaches. Land Training The Club has 10 Concept 2 rowing machines, Concept 2 dyno and a wide range of free weights.
