Indoor Rowing Club
Information

Indoor rowing is an essential part of training. For the beginner it helps to develop an understanding of slide control, body posture and technique, which aids water training. For the more advanced rowers the machines help to maintain high fitness levels through the winter months and enable rowers to monitor their development.

The facilities are used by a wide range of people with varying abilities. Juniors, Novice, Veterans and rowers on the World Class Start Programme all make use of the indoor facilities.

An Indoor Rowing Club is run weekly for Men and Women who are interested in improving their fitness, but are not necessarily interested in learning to row on the water. These Classes are open to beginners and intermediate level rowers.

The Club hosts excellent indoor rowing facilities, with 11 Concept 2 rowing machines (ergo's), a Concept 2 dyno and a wide range of free weights.
